This is a huge victory for Simba Chitando, as this is what he’s been fighting for over the past four years. I supported him in this fight because diaspora remittances played a pivotal role in busting sanctions and keeping the Zimbabwean economy going under illegal western sanctions.

We would also like to thank the South African government for changing their position on this issue. Simba has done a lot for Zimbabwe fighting sanctions and the cancellation of ZEP. He deserves reward and recognition for such work nation building work. We as Zimbabweans should ensure that we fix our economy and politics to ensure that we stop being displaced as refugees into South Africa.
